The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you about which data we collect when you visit our website or place an order, and how we handle it.

2. What data we collect

  • Account & order data: name, email address, delivery address, billing address, phone number, order history, payment data (processed by our payment service providers).
  • Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent – collected via cookies (see Cookies section).

3. Purposes & legal bases

  • Contract performance (order, shipping, customer service) – Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
  • Legal obligations (e.g. tax/commercial retention) – Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.
  • Legitimate interests (secure operation, fraud prevention, reach measurement) – Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
  • Consent (non-essential cookies, marketing) – Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, revocable at any time.

4. Recipients / processors
To provide the shop, we use service providers who process data on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR), in particular: Shopify International Ltd., Dublin (Ireland), or Shopify Inc., Ottawa (Canada) – shop platform, hosting and payment processing via Shopify Payments/Shop Pay; Klarna Bank AB, Stockholm (Sweden) – invoice and instalment purchase; PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (Luxembourg) – payments; BunnyWay d.o.o., Ljubljana (Slovenia) – provision of web fonts; as well as our shipping service providers for the delivery of your order.

5. Cookies & tracking We use technically necessary cookies as well as – only with your consent – analytics/marketing cookies. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings. For this we use Shopify's cookie banner (Customer Privacy); you can access the consent dialog at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of our website.

6. Storage period We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or for as long as statutory retention periods (e.g. 6–10 years for invoices) exist.

7. Your rights You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can revoke any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact privacy@hairglamour.de.

8. Right to lodge a complaint You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is: The Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden.

9. Data security We take appropriate technical and organisational measures; transmission is encrypted (SSL/TLS).

Data transfers to third countries

Some of the service providers mentioned also process personal data outside the EU or EEA, in particular in Canada and the USA (Shopify). For Canada, an adequacy decision by the EU Commission exists (Art. 45 GDPR). Insofar as data is transferred to the USA, this takes place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR).
